Flying into Los Angeles:
If you are flying into Los Angeles, you will usually find the lowest rates if you fly into Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport. But if you are looking for a much smaller airport with far less congestion that is much closer to where the “goings-on” will be, you may be interested in looking at flights that land at Burbank Airport (ak Bob Hope Airport). It is recommended to book flights at least two months before the event in order to get lower pricing. Flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the cheapest.
Los Angeles is very spread out – a rental car is highly recommended (click for more info).
For the Wedding:
Our “official” wedding hotel is the Embassy Suites in Glendale. We have reserved a block of rooms with special rates.
This hotel offers spacious suites that include a separate private bedroom and a living room area with a pull out sofa bed. Also included is a free full Cooked-To-Order breakfast every morning and a Manager’s Reception nightly featuring appetizers, draft beer, wine and crafted cocktails. They are centrally located minutes from Pasadena, Los Angeles and Universal City with easy access to the freeway. It is within 5 minutes of the church and reception hall. Shuttle service details will be announced closer to the date here – the shuttles will go from Hotel to venues and back.

For other days besides the wedding weekend, you may be interested in staying at other hotels. There are two hotels close to where we live. They are at the intersection of the 405 and 101 freeways, which would give quick access to most areas you would want to visit.
